The Golconda Riverview Mansion has many delightful turn-of-the-century architectural details. Bold millwork and historic design abounds in the hotel. There are six different and gorgeous fireplace mantels both in the hotel rooms and common spaces. Stain glass windows and beveled glass display the luxury of the home's origins. You will be amazed at the Victorian architecture throughout the exquisite mansion.

You will notice the original hardware is still found in the Mansion. The doorknobs are an elegant antique Art Nouveau, made by Reading Hardware Co. in the “Eulalia” design featured in their 1897 catalog. Made of bronze, the knobs feature a recessed center ornamented with Art Nouveau leaf detail, surrounded by a wide, raised border. The plates feature a charming asymmetrical design of flowing vines and leaves, with flowers surrounding the screw holes.
